PhD Studentships in Politics and International Relations

The School of Law and Government at Dublin City University is a research active school with world-class faculty willing to supervise research students on topics in their areas of specialism. DCU ranks in the top 200 in the world in Politics and International Studies as per the QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education ranks it 86 among ”100 under 50’’ universities.

We invite applicants for PhD research in any area of political science and international relations, or law.

The School operates a full-time four-year PhD programme with a range of taught courses in the first year and further professional training offered in other years. As well as a tax-free stipend of €14,000, we may also support our students with funding for conference and research travel. The School also gives its PhD students opportunities to teach courses.
