IICRR Director Professor John Doyle was among those asked to give evidence to the British House of Lords EU Select Committee who were on a visit to Ireland as part of their work on the impacts of Brexit. As part of a very detailed and wide-ranging exchange, Professor Doyle focused in particular on the significant threat to the peace process which would result from any physical infrastructure on the border. Professor Doyle and Professor Eileen Connolly’s analysis of the impacts on Northern Ireland were published in a collection of Essays by Oxford University Press late last year. These papers can be accessed on the DCU Brexit Institute website
