The last two years have seen an unprecedented level of research on the issues that will be at the heart of the public debate on a referendum on Irish unity. Much research remains to be done so we can avoid the type of referendum held on Brexit and a lot more public debate is needed, but on some questions, the research is providing clear evidence.
